5 Things To Do In The Rainy Season
The rainy season is here! The bad news? It might last until July...The good news? Here are 5 of our favorite things to do when it's rainy!1. The Cup Noodles Museum in Minato MiraiTry your hand at making chicken ramen yourself, or design a cup noodle pack of your very own to take home.Google Map > https://goo.gl/maps/yckUeN7v8wh2Goqv6
2. Minato Mirai Manyo Club OnsenHave a day of relaxation and enjoy the hot spring water shipped in from Atami.Google Map > https://g.page/manyoclubmm21?share
3. Chocolate Factory & Museum in ChinatownWe bet you didn't know about this! This factory also allows you to make a chocolate of your very own design during their workshops. It’s truly a chocolate lover’s paradise.Google Map > https://goo.gl/maps/KRVpQxyS1JGxvUJL8
4. The Shin-Yokohama Ramen MuseumInside is a trip back to the Shōwa era, complete with retro buildings, neon lights, and grimy signs. They have vastly different styles of ramen from locales ranging from Hokkaido to Kyushu, as well as candy shops and a few cafes.Google Map > https://goo.gl/maps/D8fQnjN7toz4oZ8T7
5. Kirin Ichiban Brewery Tour in Shin-KoyasuThe Kirin Beer Factory in Yokohama is both the largest and oldest of the Kirin Beer Factories in Japan, so it holds a special place in the company's history.During the Ichiban Brewery Tour, you can smell the fresh hops and try a sample of the malt for yourself, as well as test your knowledge of the brewing process and history with quick quizzes spaced throughout.Google Map > https://goo.gl/maps/YQgaKomb7BcixHHA7
Only Flat White Coffee In Yokohama?
It's Monday which means we introduce some of the best coffee places in Yokohama. This week we are going to "Good On You Coffee Stand".We are not exactly sure what the name means, but we feel pretty good about it!After living in Australia for seven years the owner Akaishi san fell in love with the café culture there and wanted to introduce the taste of Australia to Yokohama.Good on You coffee stand located right near Isezaki-chojamachi or Kannai StationA big window opens onto the street with a simple sign above that sums it up in true Australian style – ‘Pie and Coffee’.
Akaishi-san perfected the quintessentially Australian meat pie. They are making them from scratch in the café and they taste awesome!
The cafe is simply designed and a warm welcome makes you feel like an instant regular. Our recommendation is a "flat white" Australian version of a latte.Check it out and let them know we sent you!Facebook Page > https://www.facebook.com/IsezakichouYokohama/Google Map > https://g.page/goodonyou?share

Dream Drive - Building, selling, and renting campervans.
“Whenever I recall and share childhood stories from growing up in the UK and Australia, they almost always begin with a road trip. I had to ask myself “why? why do most of my most memorable childhood stories begin with a journey, and why have I not been making these memories here in Japan? While working in an office in Tokyo for about 10 years, I came to the realization that many Japanese are traveling and experiencing RV road trips abroad in the United States, Australia, Europe, etc. but not doing so in their own country. Japan is in my opinion one of, if not the best country for free-spirited road trip travel as the roads are safe and there are thousands of clean toilets and onsen all throughout the country. My dream with starting this company was to not only build great campervans but also help put Japan on the global map as a top road trip destination.”
