Best Food Courts in Central Yokohama

Food courts are always a good go-to option when the weather is a little gloomy.But where to go you ask?Here are 3 of our favorites in central Yokohama - great to give you a break in a busy day.

1. Mark Is

This food court is located on the 4F of the Mark Is shopping center in MinatomiraiIt has a variety of mostly Japanese-style options.We like this because it is large and relaxed, and also there is a separate family area where no one minds if the kids are a little crazy!

2. World Porters

Also central in the Minatomirai area, this food court has a variety of options including great coffee and Hawaiian-style donuts and food.A great option if you are a little tired of the usual ramen and takoyaki!Google Map > https://goo.gl/maps/kpcjoak82pVLtVuv9

3. Akarenga

Although a little more like a group of restaurants together, we are adding this here because it is so central to a lot of great day options.Grab some pancakes at the famous Bills, or Hawaiian burgers at Kuiana.There is also a great cafe called Chano-ma and an apple pie shop called Granny Smith's!

Kanazawa Zoo

Have you been to Kanazawa Zoo before?This urban zoo is located somewhat centrally near Kanazawa Bunko Station.At just 500 yen for adults and 200 yen for elementary students, this is one of the more reasonable day adventures in Yokohama.Also every Saturday, students are free!There are a great variety of animals, including a petting zoo for the kids!Outside the zoo there is also a huge park that is lots of fun, with super long slides and athletic play equipment.Overall we are sure you'll have a great day!Google Map > https://goo.gl/maps/UTtRFqkdSuCwP7h28
