Night Zoo Now Open
Three zoos in Yokohama City, Yokohama Zoo Zoorasia (Asahi Ward), Nogeyama Zoo (Nishi Ward) and Kanazawa Zoo (Kanazawa Ward) will extend their opening hours on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays in August.
Each zoo will extend its opening hours until 8:30 p.m. under the titles "Night Zoorasia," "Night Nogeyama," and "Night Kanazawa ZOO. These events will be held on Saturdays and Sundays in August, and on the 11th, which is Mountain Day and a national holiday, for a total of nine days. Visitors will be able to observe the animals after the sun goes down, and zookeepers will give guides to the animals in their charge, telling them stories unique to nighttime that are different from those told during the daytime. Zoorasia will also hold the "Zoorasia Night Market" at the same time, under the theme "Let's play and learn with animals in the tropical forest. The market will feature illumination inspired by an Asian tropical forest, a photo spot for commemorative photos, and a kitchen car offering Asian-style menus. At the weekly workshops, visitors can experience making goods using animal motifs and environmentally friendly materials under the theme of "Play and Learn. At the Nogeyama Zoo, illumination will be set up in the flowerbed at the entrance after sunset and the zoo will be lit up. At Kanazawa Zoo, an animal protection group will sell elephant-related goods on August 13 and 14 in honor of "World Elephant Day" on August 12. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to wildlife protection activities.
A Zoorasia representative said, "There will be many events to enjoy the zoo at night, including animals that are not usually seen at night, gourmet food that can only be enjoyed here, workshops, craft classes, and more. We hope you will visit the zoo."Zoorasia Google Map > https://goo.gl/maps/y6NDr5h8bPKBxeEUANogeyama Zoological Gardens > https://goo.gl/maps/uijS2xacgb1EdbAW6Kanazawa Zoological Gardens > https://goo.gl/maps/XtV2uk8YbhyzMRJu9

Dream Drive - Building, selling, and renting campervans.
“Whenever I recall and share childhood stories from growing up in the UK and Australia, they almost always begin with a road trip. I had to ask myself “why? why do most of my most memorable childhood stories begin with a journey, and why have I not been making these memories here in Japan? While working in an office in Tokyo for about 10 years, I came to the realization that many Japanese are traveling and experiencing RV road trips abroad in the United States, Australia, Europe, etc. but not doing so in their own country. Japan is in my opinion one of, if not the best country for free-spirited road trip travel as the roads are safe and there are thousands of clean toilets and onsen all throughout the country. My dream with starting this company was to not only build great campervans but also help put Japan on the global map as a top road trip destination.”
